General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

BNTC offers GNM Course to the students. General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM is a 3 year diploma course, followed by a compulsory internship for 6 months. The minimum eligibility criteria for students to complete 10+2 in Science Stream. Students who want a secure career in nursing can opt for GNM Course. After completing the course, you can work as a staff nurse, home nurse, community health workers etc.

BSC Nursing

B. Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme focused on developing critical care advanced thinking skills proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery as mentioned in the National Health Policy 2002

General Nursing & Midwifery or GNM is a 3 year diploma course. The minimum qualification to be eligible for GNM is 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

GNM is a 3 year diploma nursing course. Admission to our institute is made through an entrance exam set by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The syllabus includes Chemistry, Biology, Physics, G.K, English Language and General Ability related questions.

GNM graduates have great scope not only in Jharkhand but also  Pan India. It also offers a great package deal. So, GNM is definitely a good career option to choose for nursing. BNTC also offers placement support to the students. Our students have been placed in different hospitals of Kolkata & Jharkhand.
